The Community- The High Country Villas senior community was built between 1975 and 1985. It is a beautifully landscaped community of 546 homes. Home Choices- High Country Villas offer single-floor homes in one or two story buildings. These homes are 2-3 bedroom, 2 bath units, 884 to 1036 sq. ft. in size. They each have a detached single-car garage and one open parking place. The downstairs units have one or more patios and the upstairs units have a balcony. Some homes have golf course or greenbelt views and some have panoramic views of valleys and canyons. The Home Owners Association maintains the exterior of the buildings, including their tile roofs and stucco siding, and also maintains the surrounding grounds including fences. As a consequence, all home exteriors and surrounding grounds are very well-maintained. In addition, many homes have been modernized on the inside with items such as newer appliances, granite countertops and smooth ceilings. Home Owner's Fees:  Two mandatory monthly fees are required, One, approximate $240 to $290  HOA fee covers common area maintenance, exterior bldg maintenance, limited insurance, roof maintenance and water. An additional $55 per month fee to Village Park Recreation Club #3 pays for upkeep of recreational amenities that include a 9-hole golf course and putting green, a clubhouse, 2 swimming pools, a spa and bocce courts.
